Wellness Side Note

This process really works. 

 Shortly after my Wellcoaches® training, I realized my blood sugar was high enough to put me in the pre-diabetic category if I didn’t do something soon.  Diabetes runs in my family – my mother had it, my brother has it, and I know first hand it is not a pretty disease – and from all my recent research, it seems to be something you can prevent or reverse.

I started following the Wellcoaches methodology and slowly started exercising, adding healthier snacks, eliminating some totally (I have accomplished the amazing feat of NOT having one potato chip since March 2010!), truly walking my talk of whole foods cooking at least 90% of the time, and just taking the baby steps to make a difference.  I did not suffer one bit.  I lost 20 pounds.  My LDL cholesterol came down 30 points.  My resting heart rate is stronger and slower.

All it took was baby steps, turtle steps, and coaching along the way (in this case self-coaching using the Wellcoaches® method).  It can be applied to any health an well-being goal you have a desire to reach.
